Consumer identification for survey responses on website

Hello Experts,

Surveys created in survey tool in crm can be used by sending URL in email and also embedding the HTML on a website.

While sending URL, when consumer clicks on links and submit response, consumer id also comes back to system along

with responses.

But when we embed the same on website, how do identify the consumer who has answered the questions in survey.
