Question on SAP CRM TPM, changes to released events

Hello All -

In SAP CRM TPM, right now when an event is released, the system does not allow any changes. We had a fit gap in Spain, and in talking to other countries, a new request has come for year long events to allows new materials to be added. We are live in five coutnries, and this had not come up before. Is this common in SAP CRM TPM, to allow changes to released events?
