Segmentation to select Null or Space Values

Dear All,

How do we select BP's via segmentation , which have Blank or Space or Null Values.

Example: Say i would like to select all BP's which have no Field Value Maintained for a specific attribute.i.e say i have a infoset in which i have used a table which contains Zfield "Customers intrest" this field can accept any value (Alpha numeric) or Zfield like Marriage Date . Now how to filter the attribute "Customer Intesest " and "Marriage Date" which have no values maintained or blank or space.

I cant create filter like Not equal to SPACE or NULL , same applies for attribute which has date as value.

Any suggestions please?
